Romeo, Romeo … you’re under arrest Romeo.

A man appare at Nottingham Crown Court yesterday, accused of vandalism. It had begun in 1997 when Cooper family had moved in the next door to the Austins in Nottingham. The neighbours had children of the same age, Chris and Jacky used to walk to school together in the morning. A few years later they had fallen in love but the Coopers had moved to a new house in Ruddington. The young people had continued seeing each other in secret, but in July Mr Coopers found out of the relationship and stopped Jacky from going out. Then Chris had pulled up the roses in the front of Cooper’s house and used them  to write the message, “ I love you ”. Ms Cooper called the police immediately.
