In 1997 the Cooper family had moved next door to the Austins. The neighbours had had children of the same age, and they had gotten on very well. A few years later Chris and Jacky had been fallen in love. But the two families had fallen out, and the Coopers had moved to a new house, miles away! The couple had continued seeing each other in secret. One day Mrs Cooper had found out about the relationship and had stopped Jacky from going out. Chris had been desperate, and had decided to prove how much he had loved her. Cooper's garden was always full of roses in July, and when the sun came up on Saturday, Chris had had pulled up the roses in the front garden and had used them to write that he loved her. Mr Cooper had called the police immediately.
