LADY DIAMOND

The title of the ballad is Lady Diamond. It consists of 13 stanzas and each stanza has 4 lines. It tells a story about a girl, her name is Lady Diamond that fell in love with a kitchen boy of her father, a king. Her father decided to kill the boy and the girl felt sad and for the love of the boy she dead.

The language is simple and concrete like all ballads.

There is a narrator but there are also dialogues where the girl expresses her sentimental situation. The most important characters are three: Lady Diamond, the king and the boy.
