by AFDonat - (2011-02-07)
Up to  5 A - James Joyce. Dubliners and UlyssesUp to task document list
1) Molly is alone in bed at night and she's thinking about her life: the flow of her thoughts is expressed thanks to the narrative technique of the stream of consciousness.
2) She thinks about a lot of things. For example she is thinking about time, about what people are doing in China, about what are the nuns doing, that she would like to sleep, about flowers, about tomorrow and her husband, about planning tomorrow, about nature, about religion, about the past, about a long kiss between her and Leopold and his nice words.
4) The final " yes I said yes I will yes " are the conclusion of the extract. These words also express Molly's strong will and position.
5) Molly bloom is an intelligent and very sensual woman. Her name recalls sensuality: Molly recalls a woman-figure and Bloom recalls a flower. She is a strong woman who knows what she wants.
