John and Cynthia Brooks have just won over §10 million in the National Lottery.

John had gone to the newsagent to buy a newspaper and seeing his neighbour buy tickets for the Lottery, he had got one ticket for the lottery too, a thing he had never done before.

If Cynthia hadn't sent him out to buy the newspaper he wouldn't have bought the lucky ticket. And if Ms Parsons, the neighbour, had gone to the newsagent's a little later than he had done, she would probably have got the winning ticket.
