1ST STANZA: Characters' introduction

Devices: Repetition of the word "king", alliteration of sound D, rhyme fame/name

 

2ND  STANZA: Introduction of another character

Devices: Repetition of the phrase "she loved him", rhyme scorn/corn

 

3RD  STANZA: Lady Diamond is pregnant

Devices: alliteration of sound W, rhyme greet/ meet

 

4TH STANZA: King's actions

 Devices: there is the word "king" again and is used a simple language

 

5TH  STANZA: The question of the king

Devices: direct speech, rhyme within /pin

 

6TH  STANZA: The answer of the daughter
