There were long queues outside the rice-shops in Peking. Chang was waiting for his turn to get some rice but when it came the rice had finished. A policeman told him that he had to return the day after. He returned the day after. He went back home and took a long steck. His wife stopped him and asked him where he was going. He answered that he wanted to beat the man at the Party Office. An hour later he went back home and he was sad. His wife asked him if he had beaten anyone but he answered that there was a queue also to beat the man.
