A train stopped at a small station. A lady opened the window and saw a boy outside the train. She asked him if he could go to the station restaurant and get her an

 ice cream. She couldn't walk very fast so she was worried about loosing the train and she didn't want to get off. She gave him 40 pence and said he could buy an 

ice cream for himself too. A few seconds before the train left, the boy came back eating an ice cream. He went to the lady, told her there was only an ice cream at the

 restaurant and so he gave her his change back.
