I think he would answer that all young people are lazy and that they spend all their time in watching TV.

Yes, he does.

1: The purpose is that all young people and adolesnts are lazy and the writer of the letter agrees whith the editor of the article "What is wrong with todays`s young peole?
2: Because they are playing computer games or watching TV.
3: The writer thinks taht teenagers are rude, because he can`t remember that young peole helped to open a door for him.
4: He criticizes that there is shown a lot of violence or in the actors are talking in a bad language.
5: He think that the should do something for their education, for example ti visit the library or a museum.
6: I don`t agree with the writer, because everybody is sometimes lazy. It`s true that teenagers are using more the internet than the adults, but that`s not the only thing they do. It`s not true that teenagers aren`t doing sport. For example all my friends and I are doing sport. Some play tennis, some play soccer. It` is not important wich sport do you do, it`s important that you do sport. Further for a lot of teenagers is it more important to do something with their friends in the "real life" than to talk with them about the internet.

1: However, in my opinion not all teenagers are lazy. All people are sometimes lazy, but laziness is important because so you can relax.
2: In my opinion this is not true. In their group, teenagers are laughing all the time and they have a lot of fun. I think that a lot of teenagers would help other people for example if an old men has problems to open a door.
3: Finnaly, Ms Boyle suggests that teenagers spend all their time watching TV or playing computer games. I totally disagree with this.
A lot of teenagers are doing sport. I like it to do sport with my friends, because we have a lot of fun. I`m very interested in doing sport. Twice a week I go road cycling, jog or tennis and I play golf. A lot of teenagers like to do something with their friend for example shopping or to go to the swimming pool. Their are also some people who are spending all their time in watching TV, but these people are in minority.
page 93/ex. 25:
Dear Editor,
I`m writing in connection with the article "Why TV is bad for us", which appeared in your newspaper last Monday. I must disagree with some points of your article.
First of all I agree with you, that watching TV make us lazy. Watching TV is for me to relax from a hard school day and to see what I don`t have (for example a movie about the Caribbean).
I also agree with you that TV give us often a trivial version from the news. Sometimes the different channels are talking about one event, but they are saying other things about this event. So I think it`s important to see the news from different channels and to read a newspaper, so that you can make your opinion from this event.
Then you wrote that if we watch TV we don`t use our brains. That`s not true, because for example if we are watching news and something happend we think about why and how it happend. For example if we see, how a plane chrashed, we are thinking about how does it happend and if flying is dangerous.
Finally you wrote that TV teachs young people that violence is the best answer. Thats wrong because TV teach us that violence is bad. There are a lot of police movies in TV, where the police is searching for example a murder. And if the find him the bring it to the prison. So TV teach us that if we do a criminal offense the police and the justice will be punish us.
Yours faithfully
Raven Kirchner
