I. In the first paragraph, Wordsworth explains his stylistic choice to be simple and essential in order to make a better and more vivid portrayal of his feelings, which originate from the simplicity of nature.

II.   In the second paragraph, he defines the poet to be a sensitive and entusiast man who tries to convey to the reader the qualities of the Universe, that nevertheless are found inside us.

 III. In the last paragraph, the poet states that poetry is born after the top of the emotions, i.e. emerge from a memory.
