"AT THE GROCER'S"
Mrs Ford went to the grocer's. She looked at her shopping list and asked for some butter, cheese and biscuits. The grocer asked her if she wanted something else; she looked at the list again and ordered some flour, sugar and a pack of tea too. The man put everything on the counter and the woman added she wanted also a tin of tomatoe soup. The grocer replied he didn't have it and that the tins on the shelf were only tometoe tins. So she asked if he could send her shopping home and added she also needed eggs but she would carry them by herself because the delivery boy was careless and the previous time he had dropped them on the door carpet.
"THE AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHER"
I entered a photography laboratory and I had a roll of photos developped and printed. They said they would be ready for the following Tuesday. On Tuesday I went to the shop again and asked for my photos. The man gave me them and I looked into the envelope but there were only 8 photos when I had taken 36. He said perhaps the camera had let in light and the photos hadn't been successful. So I looked carefully at them and I noticed some of them were almost black, some almost white. In the others my sister's legs were cut off and a tree grew out of my brother's head. I laugh and I said I would never be a good photographer.
