Subject matter of the poetry
Poetry speaks about situations of common and rural life, because in that condition the passions are better expressed, in their semplicity; so the can accurately contemplated and more forcibly communicated, and because the passion of men are incorporated with the beautiful forms of nature.

The language of the poetry
Poetry should use familiar language, which is really used by men who live a humble and rustic life.  This type of language should use by common people too, to convey their feeling with a simply and unelaborated language.

The poet's identity
The poet is a man speaking to other men who has more lively sensibility, more enthusiasm and tenderness, who has a greater knowledge of human nature and a more comprehensive soul. He is a man who delights in contemplate passions and he is pleased of his own.

The creative act of the poet
The creative process starts from an emotion which is recollected in tranquility. The emotion is contemplated till the tranquility gradually disappears and a emotion is produced and actually exists in the mind.
