The Ode is a more complex form of poetry. The ode is more difficult than the ballad because the language is not an everyday language, the lay-out is different and the theme dealed are about philosophy.

In the extract taken from Intimations of Immortality From Recollections of Early Childhood by Wordsworth, the reader understand just by reading the title that the poet would talk about something happened in the past the keywords are "immortality", "recollections" and "childhood". In the poet Wordsworth deals about the relationship between the child and god. The younger a man is the better he feels god's influences. This is the neoplatonic phliosophy.
