GUESTS FOR DINNER
It was 17.15. Mrs. Alison heard her husband park his car in front of the house and exited. Her husband noticed she was upset and asked her the reason. She answered that about half an hour before Mrs. Johnson had rung her up and they had been talking for a long time. At the end she had invited Mrs. Johnson and her husband at their home for dinner that day. Mr. Alison said there was nothing to get upset about. It was a long time they didn't see the Johnsons and he said it would be a pleasant evening. His wife added that, after she had invited them, she had realized there was hardly any food in their house. She asked her husban if, by any chance, he had bought some steak by the way home. She had told him to buy it three days before. Her husband said he had bought it, but he had forgot it in the boot of the car because she hadn't reminded him of it.
