LOOK AT WHERE YOU'RE GOING!
I have always been impressed about the line of glass doors of the Palace Hotel. The last time I stayed there, I got a surprise. Some workmen were sticking bands of gold tape on the doors. I said to one of them they were spoiling the appearance of the building and asked him why they were doing that. He answered the bands would make the doors visible to the people.

I exclaimed it was impossible not to see them, but he added that the previous year several people had been seriously injured and five doors had been broken.

I didn't believe him, and said all that was a nonsense. He replied the accidents had truely happened. Afterwards, we heard a terrible and loud crash. A man had just tried to walk straight into one of the glass door. He was rubbing his forefront and staring at the door angrily.

The workman ended asking me if I had understood what he meant.
