"LOOK WHERE YOU'RE GOING"

I've been always impressed about the long line of glass doors of Palace Hotel. The last time I went there I saw the workmen sticking bends of gold tape all long the glass doors. I went closer to a workman and asked him why they were spoiling the appearance of the building in a such bad manner. He answered they were ordered to do it because the previous year lots of residents hadn't seen the glass doors and had been injured. I replied it was a nonsense because the glass doors are the first thing you notice when you look at the building. But suddenly we heard a loud crash a few yards from us and saw a man who was rubbing his forehead looking angrily at the glass door. So the workman asked me if I believed him after that.
