The Renaissance is the name that people usually give to the period that takes part from 1485, the end of the War

Roses and also a century later than in Europe, until the 16th century. This stage of England's history takes a profound change and makes the basics of our modern society. During the Renaissance there are a lot of new discoveries, as the Discovery of America and the deny by Copernico that Earth is on the centre of the universe, that change the vision of the world and give rise to a period of uncertainty and restlessness. There is also the rediscovery of Latin and Greek culture, and so a new strong will to learn something that might've improved the society. During this period there is also a central position of men that give rise to the triumph of the body and the human being is as important as God. But the most important change of the Renaissance is when King Henry VIII, after the deny of the Pope to divorce him from his wife, become the Head of Christianity in England and it becomes Protestant and independent from the Church of Rome.
