MONEY PROBLEMS
My brother Henry had a good work: he worked at a bank. I couldn’t believe him when he told me he wanted to give it up. I tried to change his mind, but I failed. I told him he should reconsider his idea, because he had been working in that bank for five years. He also might become a bank manager at 35. Henry told me he had a pleasant salary, pleasant surroundings, he kept civilize hours and he had never had complaints. He added the bank manager had said him his prospects were good. I asked him what the problem was. He said the problem was the money. I didn’t understand him. I said he had a good salary. Henry said the problem wasn’t the salary, it was his work. All he did was counting money. I didn’t understand him and he added he loved counting his own money, but he found depressing counting other people’s.
