BABY SITTING

Mrs. Soames was giving the last-minute indications to Carol, her new babysitter, before leaving. She told Carol that she could switch on the television or listen to the radio, but she added that she ought to put them not loud because she would may wake up the child.

Then Mrs. Soames said they would return at 11.00 o'clock.

Carol has never done the babysitter before and then Mrs. Soames let her a tray with food so that she hadn't to cook anything.

Mr. and Mrs. Soames returned later than 11.00 o'clock and when they entered the house they saw a light and the television switched on in the living room and they saw their boy awake too.

He was watching the television while Carol was sleeping.
