LOOK WHERE YOU'RE GOING

I've been always impressed about the long line of glass doors of Palace Hotel, but the last time I went there I saw the workmen sticking bends of gold tape all long it. So I went to a workman and asked him why they were doing that, because they were spoiling the appearance of the building. He answered they were ordered to do it because the previous year lots of residents hadn't seen the glass doors and had been injured. They also had to change 5 glass doors.
I replied it was a nonsense because the glass doors are the first thing that you notice when you look at the building... But suddenly we heard a loud crash a few yards from us and saw a man who was rubbing his forehead looking angrily at the glass door. He had crashed to a glass door!!
So the workman asked me if I believed him then.
