I can't believe it! I passed all my exams! I really don't know how I managed to pass Maths. Now I need to decide what to study at university, but the problem is that I don't know what I want to do. A few months ago I decided to study biology, but now I'm not sure. It seems to be difficult to find a job as a biologist. I could become a doctor, but you have to study for years for that. I enjoy working with people. I don't like doing the same thing every day. I don't mind getting up early. I love travelling and I prefer working outside. Oh, and I can't stand talking on the phone for a long time. What is the best job for me?

Ex. 12 page 25
A: I think Clare should be a nurse.
B: No, she loves travelling, she should be a marketing manager.
A: But she also prefers working outside and hates talking on the phone for a long time. She should be a reporter.

  5. I like work - it fascinates me, especially when other people are doing it!
  6. My mother hasn't got a job at the moment.

Ex. 14 page 25
I don't know exactly what I will do in the future. One of the subject I'm interested in studying is engineering. Indeed, engineering has got lots of specializations, so I will be able to choose my specific occupation field later, when I have a clear head. Anyway, I would like to specialize in aerospace, computer, electronics or medical engineering. In addition, engineering is a subject both practical and theoretical. I like studying, but I like putting what I studied into practice as much. Finally, an engineer must be, as well as studious, a bit creative and imaginative too.
