Describing my mother

My mother's name is Alessandra Furlan. She's 41 years old.

She isn't very tall. She's short, because her mother and her father are short too. My father is very tall instead and they look strange when they are together.
She has got light chestnut hair. Her hair is very short and curly. Some years ago she had long hair, but she didn't like it. She often coloured her hair: last spring she had dark red hair, but now she want to keep her real colour.
Her eyes are cerulean. In fact her eyes are more colourful: they are green, blue and gray, and have green, light brown and even yellow spots. She's the only person I have ever seen with this eye-colour. The most difficult thing for her is to choose which colour to write on the identity card. She should wear glasses, but she often doesn't use them because they aren't practical when she works.
She is a housewife, but she's always very busy. This is because she doesn't only look after the house works: she also takes care of our animals: three dogs and three guinea pigs. This is a hard work for her and she has also to drive my brother and me from home to school and vice versa.

She is very solar and extroverted and she's really active: she can't keep steel (in fact, she hasn't time to keep steel). She's untiring when she has something to do, but at the end of the day she is very tired and she immediately falls asleep.

She likes talking and she can speak for hours without stopping. She also likes listening to the others, so many people get on well with her. I get on well with her too, and I often think I'm very lucky to have a mother like her. She loves animals and she likes taking care of them.
She's very apprehensive to my brother and me, so she always tells us what she thinks about our choices. She's always sincere, but sometimes she doesn't express all her worries or her thoughts
