“Why I would like to visit London”

London is one of the best cities in the world. It’s not my favorite but one of the best and I would be very happy to visit it.

London is one of the richest cities in the world so it’s modern, it has any kind of comfort. The whole city is connected by the Underground, the biggest in Europe, so it’s easy to move from any place to any other. London Underground is a bit expensive but it’s very well-built and useful. Anyhow it’s prohibitive to use any surface transport: the streets are often busy and buses take a lot of time to travel trough the center of London.

If I could I would even live in London. In fact London has a lot of amusements and cool places to visit. British Museum, for instance, is one of the biggest (and most important) museums dedicated to human history and culture. The National Gallery as well is very famous, and I would visit it even if I don’t like art galleries.  Tower Bridge is famous as well. However, in London, I would visit many other places. Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square are mandatory places to visit in London. Both are famous squares and public places.

The most popular sport in London is football, and London is the hometown for four of the strongest teams in English Premier League:  Arsenal, Chelsea, Fulham and Tottenham. You can’t go away from London if you haven’t seen a football match. What’s more it would be funny to go on the London Eye, a huge Ferris Wheel. From the top if the wheel (135 meters!) you can see the entire city.

In London there are a lot of parks I would like to visit. I love parks (I don’t know why), so if I could I would like to spend most of my time sitting in a park. Hyde Park is one of the biggest in London but Green Park an St James’s Park are big as well. London is a focus for any kind of music (from classical music to pop to rock). Abbey Road Studios, where the Beatles and the Rolling Stones recorded their albums, are in London such as Hard Rock Café. In Earls Court Arena and O2 Arena there are rock and pop concert very often.

Concluding if I could choose a place to live in and a city to visit I would choose London, as I said before. I would choose it because of his transports, his museums, his football team and his music. Everything I would like to do or to see I could do it in London.
