MY LAST WEEKEND

On Saturday morning, I went to school. Like every school day, I got up at seven o’clock, I had breakfast a bit later, I had a fast shower and then I caught the bus at 7.50 am. I found my friends into the bus and I talked with them until the lessons started, at about 8.20 am. On Saturday, I have only four hours’ lesson, so I finished school at 12.20 am. I came home by bus and I waited for my brother and my father to get home. Occasionally, on Saturday, also my grandparents had to come so I helped my mum to prepare the lunch. My father arrived first and he started to cook the meat on the grill. Finally, all my family was assembled, and we started eating at about 2 pm. It was a long lunch and my grandparents went away two hours later.  

In the afternoon, I went with my mum to Qlandia, a big shopping centre in Slovenia. We went there because my mum had birthday a few days ago and she wanted to buy something for her birthday present. We spent two hours in the centre and then, after some shopping, we returned home.

I had dinner with my parents and some friends in a restaurant in Cervignano, called Cappello. The son of the other family is my same age, so we talked a lot about the school and also about basket, because we both play it.                                                                                         At about 11 pm, I got home and I went immediately to bed, because I was very tired.

On Sunday morning I woke up at 8 o’clock am. I usually got up later but that morning I wanted to go with my dad to a competition of dogs, in a place near Gorizia. It wasn’t a beauty contest, but a contest about dog handling. The dogs were German Shepherd and the contenders were very expert. In conclusion, it was an exciting morning.

We came home and had lunch at 1 pm…but I would have liked to stay more at the competition. In the afternoon, I did my homework and I read a book. I had a quiet dinner at home with my family and finally I went to bed happy.
