After having prepare the American people for the difficult future , he reassures them saying that their problems can be solved. He uses the subject pronouns '' our'' to underline that he has the same problems of the American people , highlighting the unity between the speaker and the audience.
Then he explains why he was running again as candidate : he wants to reach a set of goals to restore the economy of America. In this paragraph the president describes the effects of what he did in his previous mandate : he has managed to reinvent a new auto industry , to being back jobs to America because the American workers make better products , he has managed to increase the export of American products and so to reduce the amount.
