TYPE OF TEXT: Obama’s speech is an oral argumentative text.

PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE OF THE TEXT: The objective of an argumentative text is to adduce hypothesis to a thesis, that is written at the beginning of the text.

PURPOSE OF THE OBJECTIVE: The purpose is to convey the audience that if everyone works hard and helps his nation, USA could come out to her problems like economic crises, politic, etc.

LANGUAGE: The speech is for the audience: it isn’t very difficult to understand in some parts of the speech, but sometimes language is very hard to read by a pupil that attend the third class of the high-school.
