Our new secretary

Miss Simpson, the new secretary, answered to the phone. It was Mr. Bright speaking, he wanted to talk with Mr. Calder again. Mr. Bright called many times yet to sell him his typewriters. She knew that the boss didn’t want to buy those typewriters. Covering the phone she asked Mr. Calder what to do. He recommended  her to said that he wasn’t in the office. So, the efficient secretary said to Mr. Bright “Mr. Calder says that he’s not in his office”.

Two tramps and a dog

Two tramps were walking along a quiet road and a dog was following them. They were groaning because they didn’t have any money to eat. Suddenly they saw a car coming, they moved to avoid it, but the dog didn’t  do it, so the car hit the animal and killed it. The driver was very sorry and to apologize will the tramps gave them some money. The two man thanked the driver even if…they didn’t know whose dog was it.
