Our new secretary

The telephone was
ringing and the new secretary called Miss Simpson answered it.                                                                          
Mr. Alan Bright was speaking and he said to the secretary that he wanted
to speak with Mr. Calder because he wanted to sell to him  some new typewriters.                                                                                                                               Mr.
Alan Bright phoned five times last week and Mr. Calder didn't want to speak
with him.            So Miss Simpson told
him that Mr. Calder wasn't in the office.

Two tramps and a
dog

Two tramps were
walking along a quiet road and a sorry looking dog was following them.  They was speaking about their sad life when
they saw a car in the distance.                                 It was coming towards them very quickly and it
hit and killed the dog.  The driver
apologized to trumps and gave them five pounds because he thought that it was
their dog.
