Our new secretary

The telephone rang and the new secretary, Miss Simpson, answered it. A man told her if he could talk with Mr. Calder and the new secretary asked him who he was. Then, He told her he was Mr. Alan Bright and the secretary asked Mr. Calder if he wanted to talk with the man. He answered that he had already talked with the man and to say to him that at the moment he wasn’t in his office. After that Miss Simpson told to Mr. Bright that he couldn’t speak to Mr. Calder at the moment, because Mr. Calder said that he wasn’t in his office.

Two tramps and a dog

Two tramps were walking along a quiet road and a sorry looking dog was following them. The first tramp told the other that it was a bad day and that they didn’t have any money to buy the food. The second tramp told the first are that they would have find something. Suddenly, the two tramps saw a car that was coming towards them, so they moved on the side of the road, but the dog stayed in the middle of it. The driver tried to stop the car, but it was too late and the car hit and killed the poor dog. Then the driver told the tramps that he was sorry for them dog and he gave them 5 pounds asking them if it was alright. They answered yes, after that the driver went away and the tramp put the money in his pocket. Finally the other tramp asked him whose dog was it.
