Nowadays most of those who serve the net uses English as a binding language: English is the medium wich allows everybody to keep in touch, exchange information or files and interlocutions.

These new slangs have the suffix “-lish” as a negative connotation, because they are ill-formed, misspelling and mangling.

The many slangs come from nation developing that wager on new information technologies: new technology use, that permits the all world connecting, on the one hand diffuses English like the binding language for the data exchange, on the other hand starts transforming the language.

Indeed, to communicate in English on the web, often it doesn’t look for grammatical correctness but for the speed of communication that involves, in addition to a carelessness in the use of language, a search for new terms. These terms are a fusion between English and the language of those who communicate and are designed to be immediately understood, but they deprive the English of its original meaning.

It was thought that English would improve and become the “mother-language” of the world with globalization: now English is slowly vanishing by worldwide proscenium because of the language contamination. These new slangs are known as “Globlish”.
