Nowadays most of those who surf the net use English as a vehicle language: English is the medium which allows everybody to keep in touch, exchange information or files and interaction. Of course web English is totally different from the pleasant sounding english of BBC since it carries with it or different contribution of the different language surfer speak.
The situation seems to transform the semantical reach code of Great Britain and reduce it to a very pour vocabulary most of the times not of easy access to English speaker themselves.

54% of websites are in English. Approximately 375 million people speak English as their first language, while 1.3 billion people speak Chinese, although only 4% of websites are in Chinese. The reason of this detachment comes from the language itself. English has a simple grammar, and using a few words you can say whatever you want. On the other hand Chinese is hard to learn and to speak.

Now English is going down the same road Latin did. Latin was the first language of a lot of people and countries. People modified it, adapting it differently from place to place, from culture to culture. Now we have Italian, French and many other Romance Language. English, as Latin did, is adapting differently in different places, so Hindu transformed it in Hinglish, adding words from Hindu language; Asian’s Kanglish is made of words form English in a simplified form and Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

In my opinion, there will be different languages of English origin in the future, as now there are different languages from Latin. English probably will die. Nicholas Ostler, Britannic scientist, states that English will be no longer the main language in commerce and in business: it will be completely transformed in other languages, or it will die as Latin and Greek did. Technologies will help communicating in different languages, so there will not be useful and necessary a common language.
