Nowadays most of those who surf the net use English as a vehicular language: English is the medium which allows everybody to keep in touch, exchange informations or files and interaction. Of course web English is totally different from the pleasant sounding English of BBC since it carries with it all the different contribution of the different language surfers speak.
The situation seems to transform the semantical rich code of Great Britain and reduce it to a very poor vocabulary most of the times not of easy access to English speaker themselves.

Net surfers use English as a vehicular language because English is the most important language to learn and, more or less, everybody knows it.

English has changed into a very poor vocaboulary because who surf the net uses simplified words instead rarely used words: for example to mean "uncle", net surfers say "the brother of my father"; or to say "brother-in-law", surfers use the word "co-brother".

English influenced the other languages, and now there are a lot of mixtures of languages: for example, Spaglish (English spoken by Spanish people), Hinglish (English spoken by Indian people) and Konglish (English spoken by Korean people). These "new languages" have words totally different from English language, used in discussions, chats and forums in the net, in order to simplify texts read by other net surfers, English or not.
