An
Encounter is the story of a rich and bored child, and his friends Joe and Leo. The
protagonist is also the narrator. For this reason, he uses the first person.
One day the three guys kept company by Mahoney decide to pickle the school.
They meet a very strange person who speaks a lot about girls and herotic
literature. After that man shows a strange behaviour and he replies he would
punish Mahiney.  So the boy calls other
friends and goes away. In my opinion this story attempts to allude to the
problem to the social problem of pedophilia,and the old man represents the
degradation of the love.
