THE DEAD

The topic of
the chapter is the moral crisis of Gabriel Conroy. He and his wife take part to
annual dance at Mrs  Morkan house. After
the party Gabriel confesses his wife his loves her again in spite of lots of
sufferences were. He hopes his wife can return, but she tells him the reasons
of her sadness. A song during party reminded a very ill guy, met in Dublin, who
loves her too much. Gabriel feels stoned, he looses his life and nothing can
have a sense for him. This story enphatizes the relevances  of memory on our lives. Moreover the memory
of past remote can emerge unexpectedly in every occasion.
