ARGUMENTATIVE TEXT

Thesis: “Working after school – good or bad?”

The majority of young people would like to earn some money and not to depend too much from their parents,so they search a little job which they can do after school.  However,I think  that working after school is not productive for anyone.

First the only job a pupil can find is something that doesn’t give him a high gain, like dishwasher or babysitter.

After that, this job would rob the pupil of time for other activities and for school. Indeed, pupils need every day in the afternoon some time to study (sometimes only one hour but other times it could use more than four hours!) and other time to practise sports.

Sport is important for the health:the simple act of moving your body can have a great effect. Moreover sports helps everyone to interact with other people (team or coach).  If pupils have to go to work in the afternoon they certainly would not be able to do both. They hardly fail to make even one of these two things, which are important for our health and future. Sure enough they can’t get a good grades which helps to attend a good university and after a good job which will give you more money than with these small jobs for pupils.

In addition to that, the pupils will have too much stress and this is not good for their health.

Finally, I agree about being more independent earning some own money but during the year, if you want to have a good grades, I think is not possible with a job. Instead I agree with people who search a work and work during the summer holiday.
