"Nuove regole per il trono le preoccupazioni di Carlo"

Right from the title the reader should know who is Carlo and so understand that the article is about the royal family. From the subtitle the reader understands that the key points are heredity and marriage which concern Carlo. The reader should also know what the Salic law is. "Principe di Galles" is related to the name Carlo in the title.

The body is made up of six paragraphs and a picture in the centre that catches immediately the reader's attention and makes him understand that the prince William and his wife Kate are at the heart of the article. The picture is mainly addressed to people interested in gossip.

The first paragraph introduces the topic mixing legal events to gossip ones in order to extend the article's range to more people and catch their attention. As far as language on one side there are "costituzionalisti inglesi", "legge per la successione al trono britannico" and  "l’antica legge Salica"; on the other one "royal baby", "diventare nonno", "William e Kate aspettavano un bambino" and "la gravidanza di Kate".

The second paragraph explains what will be changed in the royal family and Carlo's point of view. The Daily Mail is quoted at the start of the paragraph in order to give more credibility to the article. The language is the same of the previous paragraph ("bambina" and "nipotina" vs. "primogenita dei duchi di Cambridge").

The first sentence of the third paragraph raises the reader's curiosity ("non è un caso") and the second one introduces another element that makes the reader go on.

In the fourth and fifth paragraph there is a brief excursus on the procedures to change the Salic law that have been successfully accomplished.

The sixth paragraph is the conclusion of the article. It concerns another aspect of the new heir and ends with a forecast. Despite Carlo's worries, the conclusion is an happy ending  ("bebè", "nipotino") fulfilled by optimism for the new heir and the future changes about environment.
