Right from
the start of the article, the journalist focus the attention of the readers not
by telling the real topic, that is the modification of the Salic law, but to
the "royal baby". In this way the reader expect the article to deal with the
royal baby in a gossip-like way. In the second paragraph the journalist
introduces the problem in the same way: he doesn't say "the law is..." but he
keeps using expression similar to the ones of the gossip magazines: "price Carl
said to his friends...". In this way he keeps the expectations and the curiosity
of the reader high, because he expects that sooner or later the article will
just begin gossiping about the royal family. In the following two parts the
article keeps acting in the same way, introducing the paragraphs in gossip-like
way. Only in the last paragraph you can finally found a little bit of gossip,
but it is completely irrelevant, even for a gossip magazine. Finally, the
journalist use a very intelligent method to draw the reader attention, making
him expect a gossip article instead of an article dealing with a law.
