What is your job?

I have a degree in economics. I am an accountant, so I deal with advices and verifications regarding the financial statements of companies and individuals. I like to call the figure of the accountant as "the doctor who takes care of the business" because he helps the businessman, occupying an important position within the business success.

What course of study did you follow?

I first joined the institute in accountancy, with the idea of ​​completing the school and then find a job, then the desire and the ability to continue led me to enroll in trade and economy, a faculty that accorded with my previous choice.

There have been difficulties in your path?

Talking for the university, the main problem I encountered was due to my gaps in mathematical analysis. 

If I would have done the “liceo scientifico”  my preparation would have been more complete in this field, but with study I was able to overcome that exam.

Why did you choose to become an accountant?

Coming out of the university, there were a lot of choices, but I think that the work of the accountant makes more independent, which is a positive appearance, but that requires more responsibility and commitment.

What advice can you give to those who would like to pursue this profession?

First you have to be determined, the work is very demanding, and, if taken seriously, it takes up the entire day. Among other things, involves a continuous study of new laws and reforms that changes many times over the years. If you want to take this path I wish you good luck!
