The book is defined as a stream of consciousness because it does not tells a story itself, but is made up of tweets and status taken from social networks. 

The author in this book wants to tell how the stories of love changed  in the new era of the social networks where love is only a final sensation. The book evokes "Frammenti di un discorso amoroso" by Ronald Barthes. Even the premise is the same, but the times have changed: are those where the social networks are the only important thing.

Roberto Cotroneo says to deal tweets as if they were texts to be read several timesbecause in the tweet is resumed what happens in reality, and what happens to everybodydoes not happen to anyone, and the only real time is interior time.

This text is different from the monologue of the 19^th century. This text is written by quotation taken from social networks and not by quotation taken from philosopher or previous writers.
