A LETTER TO MY CLASSMATES
Dear classmates,
Still, whether we have become very good friends outside of class or whether we passed briefly by and then headed off on our own, we have a bond that sticks around forever.
Just few years ago we started a difficult long strand together. Now, all is going to finish. We spent different beautiful moments. Do you remind the first time we met? It was in September 2008. Personally, I was very afraid to start a new path in a new school, with somebody I’ve never met before. The very first days were very difficult, but when we started to understand each other, everything become easier. We grew up together. Few days ago I saw a photo we took in May 2008 and my reaction was like : “ Oh, my God!”. Up to now the differences are very obvious. But there aren’t only physical differences, it is surely changed also our way of thinking, in other words we have become responsible of ourselves. Indeed, a lot of us have already taken the driver’s licence, and everybody now can vote.
So, the school offered me the possibility to meet somebody I will remember for ever.
After, the fourth year, another class of eleven students was added to our class. In the very first days, it has been so difficult to be a united class, but just after few months, we knew each other. Now, I think we are a great class all together, even if sometimes we argue for very little things. But, this happens in every relationship and so, also in our class!
Personally, I am very tired. Now, we are going to do the State Exam, and I’m sure everyone will do their own best ! I hope everyone will graduate and will achieve their own goals.
You remind me, every lived moment can be a beautiful and intense moment if you live it somebody you love.
You remind me the power friends have to stop bad things from happening or the ability they have to shut my mouth in order to listen what other people have to say.
You remind me all difficult moments we lived: weeks of class tests, weeks spent doing homework helping each other.
You remind me what life is all about and I find enough strength to take another step forward.
No matter where you will go, no matter where we encountered each other, no matter when we argue for little things ( I apologize for every stupid argument I had ), thank you for reminding me about life, about happiness, about all !
Your faithfully,
Amedeo Noacco
