The Capitalism
Summary
In the text, there are different points of view
regarding to the capitalism. According to Joseph Schumpeter the author of
"Capitalism, Socialism and Democracy" wrote in 1942, the old economic
system of the capitalism is countinuously
replaced by the other one. The gangster Al Capone considers capitalism
an illegal way of making money belonging to the ruling class. Moreover, Naomi
Klein ( "The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism" ) and
Thomas Friedman ( "The Lexus and the Olive Tree" ) think that the
answer about every questions of capitalism are freemarket capitalism and
frontier capitalism. Samuel Smiles ( "Thrift" ) compares capitalism
to man. In his opinion the capitalist is a man who doesn't spend all that he
earned working. According to Smiles, John Maynard ( "The General Theory of
Employment Interest and Money" ) believe that the capitalism is a true
feeling which the evil part of men will do the most cruel things for the good
of the other people. Indeed the British prime minister Winston Churchill says
that some people repute the capitalism as an aggressive tyger, while the others
as a cow which can produce milk. To Thomas Sowell, an economist, all depends to
the capitalism and everything cannot be considered within it. The last but not
least are the philosopher Heric Hoffer, the Chinese Communist Party leader Deng
Xiaoping and Karl Marx ( "Das Kapital" ). In Hoffer's opinion the
capitalism has only negative aspects because it corrupts everything ( politics,
sports, literature ext. ). On the contrary Karl Marx reputes the capitalism as
wealth, it is "commodities". However for Deng Xiaoping to became rich
means to became glorified.
