GGirardi - The French Friends

This year I have some new classmates. In addition to some italians classmates I have also two new french girls. Their names are Claire and Aude. They came to Italy on the 10th of September when the school hasn't started yet. They will stay here until the 8th of December. They live in two different families; Claire lives in Torviscosa while Aude lives in Bagnaria Arsa. To come to school they take the bus and follow our lessons every day. I admire they very much because I think it is a very difficult to learn a new language like the Italian ones, and live in another culture with different habits. I also think it is absolutely an intresting experience. I would like to try a similar experience too. They can't speak italian very well but they are able to recognise the most simple words. They seem a bit diffident and shy but they are very respectful. I had the opportunity to talk to them and they are so nice! They respect the rules of our school and during the lessons they listen to the teacher and they don’t disturb us. They told us that the French school is different to ours; for example they don’t practice Religion and they do not much physic and math. Moreover, even if they are attending the school here, they must do the french school homeworks. It isn’t an holiday for them! When they will return home they have to pass an exam to be admitted in their own school. I’m happy to meet Aude and Claire, I hope to stay in touch with them trought the Internet and the social networks!
