Textuality » 3A Interacting
This year in my class there are two new French friends. They came here in Italy with other French boys and girls in the beginning of the school year and they will stay here until the end of December. Their names are Aude and Clare. Aude was born in 1995 and Clare in 1996, however Clare speak Italian better than Aude. I think it’s hard for them to interact with us because nobody in my class can speak French. I studied French for 3 years but I don’t like it and I don’t remember anything. We could try to communicate with them in English, but in this way they will never learn Italian.
They study almost our own subjects but their school programs are different. For example in maths they’re a bit behind us. This is not a problem because their exercise are different than ours. I don’t know if they must do any test like us.
I don’t know so much of them and I never talked so long with them. The only think I have noticed is that they always talk in a low voice, and they think we always scream. You can’t hear most of them words. Anyhow I think I’ll know much of them in this months. Particularly I would know what kind of music the French people listen to, and if pop is as popular as in Italy.
I don’t seem to be happy here (I wouldn’t be).
