The French Friends

　During the first days of school Aude and Claire, two French students, came to our high school because of the Comenius project.

They come from the high school of Agen in France and now they're hosted by families in Torviscosa and Bagniaria Arsa.

Aude and Claire are respectively seventeen and sixteen and in France they don't study our own subjects and so initially was very difficult to understand what they have done in each subject.

Obviously they can't speak Italian really well and they initially speak only to each other but our class tried to communicate with them in English or French to explain how to do exercises and to know something about France's habits and traditions.

For example Michael Ferrazzo helps them in Maths and Philosophy, instead Manuel Ferrigno helps them to understand Italian and Latin lessons.

In Italian lessons we're working in groups to find out some characteristics about Middle Ages with Miss Gambin and we have involved them, regarding Gothic architecture, because there is a Gothic church in Agen and we have found it with Google maps; at the end of this work they will present their part of work.

We all know that is very difficult to move to a foreign country for two or three months and study school's subjects and communicate in a foreign language without understanding all right, so we have to help French students and involve them in our class.

Finally I'm sure that they'll improve their Italian and understand better subjects.
