C: Yes, there is some. But I’m afraid we’ve got no bicarbonate of soda at all.

F: We don’t need any. We can use baking powder instead.

C: What else do we need?

F: Maybe some cream of tartar and some raisins.

C: Raisins? Yuk! I don’t want any raisins in my scones.
