Textuality » 3A Interacting
This year our school has been involved in an exchange program with France. In fact, we have two French girls in our class, who will stay here for about three months. Their names are Aude and Claire. They come from Agen, a city in the south-west of France near Bordeaux. At the moment they are hosted in two different families, respectively in Bagnaria Arsa and Torviscosa.
Aude and Claire are two friendly and nice girls; moreover they’re very polite and respectful to everybody. At first, when they arrived, they were a little shy and confused I think, because they're in a foreign country, in a different school with new classmates, but now they have cleared all these hurdles and we talk every day. We talked about differences between French and Italian schools and manners, about their impressions and about how they feel; we also talked about this and that, about their interests, music, sports, and so on. We had some problems in communicating, because they haven't spoken Italian for a long time, but I’ve noticed that they’re improving a little more every day.
For me this experience has been very nice so far. I hope Claire and Aude have a good time here in Italy, I also hope we will become friends and we will keep in touch after their return in France.
