On  the first school  day our class had a fantastic surprise: two French students will be with us for three months.

They are here for a cultural exchange between their and our school: they will live in an host family from September to December and when they will return home they will host an Italian student from January to April.

Their names are Aude and Claire, they are 16. They told us they live in Agen, a small town between Bordeaux and Toulouse, and they attend the Lycèe Palissy.

Claire has  blonde hair, blue eyes and is white and skinned.Here she lives in Torviscosa.

Aude has brown hair, brown eyes and is olived skinned. Here she lives in Bagnaria Arsa. They are very friendly and sociable. I think they are very courageous too because they have left their family and friends to come into a different and unknown country and they live in an host family with a different lifestyle from the one they are familiar with.

The school is different too: they told that our school is smaller than theirs andhave also added that in their school they are stricter than in our school.

For them this is not a holiday, they are here to improve their language and they also have to study their French subjects because when they will return home they have to know the same things of their classmates.

I think that they are already very good in Italian because they can understand a lot of things and when theygo back home they will speak more or less Italian like us.
