THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION COMMENT The industrial revolution was the substitution of medieval way of produce,with the new concept of production "in factory". Two systems of thought helped to develop industrial revolution:Economic science and Socialism. Economic science in England has four chief landmarks: -Adam smith:the condition of wealth isn't the same thing of the condition of well being -Malthus:detected the cause of poverty in his theory of population -Ricardo:distribution of wealth -Stuart Mill:system of free competition With the development of the Industrial Revolution there was a positive and relative decline in agricultural population. During the end of the eighteenth century the revolution started with the manufacturing industries.The three most important causes were: -the destruction of the common-field system of cultivation -the enclosure of common and waste lands -the consolidation of small farms into large ones Agriculture also improoved to adapt to the situation,so were developerd rotation of crops,improoved the breed of cattle,invention of steam-plough the institution of agricultural societies. Four great inventions contributed to the development of industry namely -the spinning jenny, -the water-frame, -Crompton’s mule -the self-acting mule. But the two most important invention were the steam-engine and the power loom. Also the iron industry underwent a real revolution thanks to the invention of smelting and the application of the steam-engine to blast furnaces. Farmers got power and created a distinct class and lots of conflicts were recorded
