Title: A crisis of capitalism

Subtitle:
1. Problem ® the financial problems plaguing Europe and Italy are not home-grown.

The structure of the article consists of eleven paragraphs.

The first paragraph starts with a topic sentence, where it resorts to a Marx's quotation to explain the double face of history. It is as a tragedy because the most effective opposition to government are comedians, in particular the prime minister himself is a joke (R.B. refers to Berlusconi). This sentence illustrates how Italy's problems are not only economical and political condition, but also the behaviour of the prime minister and his trials.

In the second paragraph Riccardo Bellofiore writes that for understand the Italy's crisis you need to look at a wider European context.


In the third paragraph the journalist expresses his personal opinion with the phrase "the European crisis is not a home-grown one". As the matter of fact Europe requires USA's monetary helps to solve its problems.
In the others paragraphs the journalist explains that the crisis of capitalism is an actually problem to reflection also today.


Finally the journalist describes the reason of the European crisis and the consequences of it, making allusion to the events which determined the continuous decrease of Italy and European's economy.
