Angela in general is more successful at school than Tony. She is better at Italian, English and French. But she is worse at Maths.  Angela is also a ……… better at History and Geography, but neither of them like these subjects very much. Angela doesn’t behave very well in class – she has a 7 in Conduct. Tony behaves much better. And he is also a great athlete!

At birth, a boy’s brain is a bit bigger than  a girl’s brain. At birth. The average brain of boys is between 12 – 20 % larger than that of girls. The head circumference of boys is also a little wider than that of girls.

So, if a girl weighs the same as a boy at birth, she won’t have a smaller brain

In adults, the average brain weight in men is about 11-12% heavier than the average brain weight in women.  Remember though, that women are generally lighter than men. More interesting behavioral differences have been reported for men and woman. For example, it seems that women are much better at language skills and men  are much capabler at certain spatial abilities
